NYU tax LL.M. admits

rbp

I would like to know if any domestic (attended US JD program) applicants to NYU's tax LL.M. program whose application went complete AFTER January 15, 2009 have been admitted. If so, could you tell me when your application went complete and whatever you are willing to share about your credentials.

Thanks,

I certainly didn't intend to respond to my own post, but a couple of hours ago, I received an e-mail from NYU linking me to an acceptance letter.

For those still waiting and interested in statistics:

I am a domestic student, currently a 3L and a top 25 JD program. I have taken three tax classes and did very well in two of them. I also had two good recommendations. I can't give you my exact ranking because my law school only ranks top 10% and I haven't been in that ranking since my first year. I could guess where I am, but the law school makes a big point of telling us not to do so. What I can say is that I am not in the top 10%, but I am not anywhere near the bottom either.

My application when complete in early February.

Good luck to all of you still waiting.
