Has anyone not yet received a confirmation on the completeness of his or her file from NYU?
If so, when did you send your application?

I haven't received any notice from NYU. I applied one week before the deadline and send everything through Fedex...And since I am having troubles to have ETS send my toefl score report, I don't know if the lack of notice from NYU is due to the possible absence of the score report, to the time that NYU need to process our applications or to the fact that NYU doesn't give such a notice.

I applied in mid-October and sent all of my documents on October 25 and received my completeness e-mail on November 3.

I submitted my application on around 15th November, then had mailed my recommendations. I received a notification on November 30th that my application was complete.

Am I right in thinking that there will be no decisions until late March?

Last year they sent an e-mail confirming that applications were complete, and they made their decisions public on March, 15th.

Someone said they got an email wanting fall grades. I am graduating in may and have a completion notice but no request for fall grades. Is that normal?

I applied before the deadline and my materials reached NYU through TNT before the Dec. 1 deadline. Ever since i did not receive any e-mails confirming receipt of application or completion thereof.

I sent them an e-mail inquiring about the odd situation and received an auto-reply message with FAQs on NYU.

Any idea how i should deal with the situation?

Same for me. I enquired twice about the status of my application, and I got an auto-reply message.
How can we have our file complete if we don't know what's missing?
NYU is actually the only school which has not answered to my messages yet.

yeah, me neither... Georgetown were very responsive and all the other schools i applied to already confirmed completion. and i don't know if calling them would do any good.

I have called and they are somewhat helpful. The first time I talked to a very rude person, the second time I got a very nice person. I guess just call and hope you get the nice one.

The same thing happened to me. NYU's the only school that did not respond to me. Guess they are overwhelmed by the reviewing process.
