Hello All,
I have been admitted to the Tax LLM Programs at Northwester and BU, and to the Estate Planning LLM program at Miami. I am having a hard time choosing between the 3, does anyone have any thoughts, opinions, etc. Any thoughts and/or opinions are very much appreciated and welcomed.

I graduate from Northwestern Tax this spring. There is 1 or 2 courses for estate planning. Some of my friends took it, but I didn't. No one complained, though. I think overall it's a good program. The ranking speaks for itself. And Chicago is a great city. I was admitted to BU Tax too, but turned the offer down and chose to go to NU.

Depends on what you want to do with it. A general Tax LLM can be used for corporate, real estate, personal and estate planning. So, it opens a lot of doors. An Estate Planning LLM is really only applicable to estate planning. But, if you want to be an estate planning attorney, then that degree will be a better choice.
