Hello! I am admitted to the NU LLM program as well. Did you receive NU portfolio?

My wife and I will attend Northwestern University (general LL.M.) too.
We already rented an apartment at The Streeter building (by email).

check out both Abbott Hall and Worcester House. They are supposed to accomodate only med students, but many law students are normally admitted too.

Hey,
Sorry for my late reply and thank for yours (specialy Stagistas 11 for all his/her informations).
I am Belgian and I didn't get any portfolio.
I plan to arrive in Chicago earlier and find there a flat. Do you think it is a good idea or it is impossible to find quickly a good offer?
In any case, if I don't find a place to live with a reasonable rent, I think I will search a room mate as you, PD.
I visit the following websites in that respect:
http://chicago.metroroommates.com/
http://www.roommateclick.com/illinois/chicago-roommate/listings/l
http://www.easyroommate.com/illinois/chicago-roommate
http://www.roommates4you.com/us/IL/Chicago-roommates/
Maybe, it can help you, PD...
Another question: does anyone will attend intensive summer English program at Northwestern (LEAF)?

I will attend the LEAF program.
Then, we will meet each other on July 16...
Where are you from? At which LL.M. program will you attend?
Have you received information about the LEAF program?
See you soon!

Hi guys,
I also will be attending the General LLM and LEAF Program.
One tip about housing, a couple of weeks ago I went to Chicago to see apartments and stuff. Most of the apartment buildings (McClourg, Onterie, Lake Front Plaza, Streeter, etc) have huge waiting lists for July and August. Therefore, if you wish to rent a walking distance apartment, I recommend you to rent it as ASAP, before arriving to Chicago.
Best, CCM
