I find that hilarious - as though a whole extra week makes any difference when they've had at the very least 15 weeks, if not more, to make decisions. At this rate, in a few years' time the decisions should be issued in June.
They may or may not release results on the 29th but i believe that that decision has nothing whatsoever to do with number of applications.

The 29th is inconsistent with previous years. I doubt it would be issued that late..

Well, you definitely might be right, I am just guessing and probably my speculations have nothing to do with the reality.
Nevertheless, if it is not the increased number of applications and issues with embark system, then what might be a rational and logical explanation of the fact that HLS keeps silence?

There are often many instances that do not require a rational and logical explanation.
1. they might simply want non-serious applicants to withdraw;
2. they might want candidates to choose HLS over all others
3. they might want to be sure that all those whom they send invites will accept
4. they might consider it beneath their dignity to be compared to other schools (i.e. by applicants with multiple offers and hls)
5. they might think 22 / 29 is a lucky day

Hello all,
I am a current LL.M candidate at HLS and I perfectly understand how you guys feel at this time. I have been through it before. We were notified of the admission decisions on March 16, '09. I trust that you guys will get word by Monday 22 or thereabouts.
I just stopped by to have a sense of the tension, suspense, fears and hopes at this point. I remember refreshing ll.m-guide every other minute. Please take it easy with yourselves and - good luck with the decisions!
Trust me - it's an exciting place to be!

Just got rejected by HLS. I'll be heading to NYU for now but still waiting for Columbia. Any of you have requested an expedite process and been admitted to CLS?
