Hi everybody,
My name is Tapha and I came from west Africa/ Senegal. I have been in US for just 7 months. The education system in my country is not the same as american system. I got my associate degree in Public Law option International Relations after 3 years and the Master after 1 year later in the same courses. After the Master I got what is called there a Pre Doctorate Dplioma in Human Rights and Peace after 2 years exactly in 2008. Before leaving my country I started my PhD that I'm continuing in distance. I wrote 2 thesis: one in Master and the other in my Pre Doctorate Program. I began writing my dissertation in "Child Labor in Africa:from regulation to effectiveness."
Sorry for the details but it was just to let you know about the system's differences. Now, after my English classes, i wanna go to university. I have learned through the forum about the Top Universities in Law but those that are not far from my area are Georgetown Univ, GWU and Univ of Maryland because I live in Maryland. I have learned also about the LLM and JD programs but not really well. So, your advices are welcome because I'm really in need in order to find out the best way being part of the american student's community.
Need your advices
