LSAT for LLM?

MarionLG

Hi,

I have a question: Do I definitely need the LSAT test for LLM programs?
I am a Fulbright applicant, and the Fulbright Commission told me I don't need an LSAT in order to apply for LLM programs, but that seems a little strange to me...

Thanks for helping!

Nope, you don't need to take the LSAT for LLM admission; it's just for college students applying for the JD.
What you might consider is that LSAC, the body that administers the LSAT, provides a Credential Assembly Service where you send them your foreign (I assume you're British as you're applying for Fulbright) law school transcripts, about which they then provide a report to the US law schools. This is optional but 'recommended' by many law schools.

Hi,
thanks for your answer!

I'm not British, I'm Austrian! :)
The problem is - we don't have official transcripts that we can send around online, and I don't think our schools can do that, either. But if it's non mandatory, I guess that's ok...

Thanks a lot for your help!
