LSAC - Law School Reports

Gavin

Hi guys,
does anyone have an idea how long it takes LSAC to (i) evaluate and process the transcripts and letters of recommendation and (ii) generate the Law School Reports? Thanks.

Hello Gavin,

Allow two weeks from LSAC receiving up to processing your transcripts. During peak times this could take 1-2 weeks longer. If your law school is located outside of the US, it will take a little longer. LSAC states that one should send documents at least four weeks prior to their first law school application deadline.

Hi Gavin.. The law school reports, for me were generated within an hour of submitting the application. This is provided all the required documents are already processed and available. However, LSAC says that some colleges may not be set up to generate requests immediately.

Evaluation have taken them 10 astronomic days to complete, but reports as far as I understand are generated automatically within a couple of hours after you apply. Even during night hours if applied on working days.

In my case, the day I hit submit, be it during the weekday or the weekend, doesnt seem to matter. As long as you have all documents in place, and the law school has the automatic 'request' system (which most have), your LSAC report will be sent even if it's Sat or Sun.

My experience:

(1) evaluation / processing time (transcripts / LOR) = 1 week.

(2) Law School Reports = immediately after I hit submit
