LSAC

Hi all

Im wondering about the "number of letters of recommendation" and "letter description" in the LSAC`s website, which give you a choice to assign a letter to multiple schools or only to one specific school. Does someone can advise me whether it`s better to make the recommendation to specific school (means that you have to ask the recommender to provide more than 1 letter) or it`s ok to have only 1 recommendation letter for multiple schools.

and also does LSAC will send an email (which what called as "Letter of Recommendation Form") to the recommender and ask them to fulfil the form or we can print such form and ask the recommender to sign. Im asking this because I must inform the recommenders if LSAC will send them an email, so they can respond it quickly.

Thanks so much for sharing an experience.

Cheers

1. I used 1 generic letter from each. It was easier.

2. You print the form and send it to your recommender. There is no email from LSAC

I only arrange a specific letter for one school because my boss graduated from that one. Otherwise, I don't think it makes much difference whether you tailor the letters or use a generic one. In addition, I can't imagine that a good recommender, normally professor or senior lawyer would have time to write several versions for you.
