I am debating between pursuing an LLM in Taxation, versus an LLM in International Taxation from NYU, Georgetown, etc. Ideally, I would want International Taxation as it thoroughly enjoy the subject, but I worry that may limit the scope of potential employment for me after graduation. On the other hand, I also enjoy taxation generally (I assume a more U.S.-focused degree) and think the long term general marketability of that degree may outweigh the international degree. Any thoughts?
