Hi has anyone received an LLM from Pepperdine? I recently moved to L.A. and can't find a job that I'm happy with. Are they helpful in finding their students work? My main purpose for joining the program would be to find a job in Mediation.

I'm not exactly sure about the LL.M. program, but I am getting my J.D. from Pepperdine and the Straus Institute is helpful in getting students jobs and they have a lot of contacts in the mediation field, particularly in L.A., but also in other cities. Plus, the professors are really accessible so they are also a great resource. You also get a lot of hands on experience with mediation during the program (particularly with the mediation clinic and the externship program), which will also help to build you contacts.
