Hi and thank you in advance for your help
I’m Brazilian and I have a law degree (5 years of law school) and the equivalent BAR in my home country.
My husband is American and we are living in USA, because of it I’m a legal permanent resident.
I want to became a lawyer in US and not sure if I should apply for an LLM or JD.
I know that some states allow me to take the BAR exam just having the LLM. But my real question is how it will be to get a job with one of the other... is it possible to get a job just with the llm as American legal education?
My fields of interest are corporate, international, human rights, and contracts.
