Hi! I really need to make a decision on pursuing my LLM. Is the University of texas at Austin, the best option in texas? Are the job prospects good for an international student? Thanks in advance for your help. Additional info will be highly appreciated!

In terms of LLM the University of Houston Law Center is probably your best bet for oil in gas. Very good faculty located in Houston.
UT is the most prestigious school but the expertise in Houston is indeed recommended.

Thanks a mil! I'll keep that in mind. I heard something a bit annoying earlier today, according to my source, undergrad courses from Nigeria are not recognised in the US, does this mean even with an LLM from a US university, job prospects are very slim?

With the current climate even with a UT degree you will stuggle unless you have contacts!!
Go for it!

Hi All
With the new Centre at the University of Texas on Global Energy, don't you think UT may rank higher than Houston in LLM-oil and gas law?
