LLM in the US for an LLB graduate

trini

I have recently graduated from the University of the West Indies with an LLB dgeree (Upper Second Class). I wanted to find out if anyone knows about the entry success for students with an LLB degree to be admitted to LLM programmes in the US. I would really like to attend either Georgetown or Columbia but i am unsure if this would be a too ambitious enterprise since i did not receive a first class honours degree.

i had a 2:1 (from UK) and I'm going to Georgetown this year, so i think you will be fine! I didn't apply to Columbia because i haven't worked and I was told that they accept only very few candidates without at least a year of working
