I am considering going back to school to get my LLM in estate planning but am not sure how much background in tax is needed. I did not take a single tax class in law school, does this create a huge problem? Also, since I am mainly interested in estate planning and not so much the tax aspect, do you think it is worth the time and investment or would I be better off to just get an LLM in tax?
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
