Hi everyone,

After much deliberation I turn to you my learned friends on the board.  I have a UK LLB Hons degree from Leeds Uni and passed the LPC many moons ago in 1997.  I now live in Maryland.  I sent my transcript to the NYB of Examiners and received a clearance to take the NY Bar exam.  Erm.  I have this terrible feeling that the Barbri will not be enough to pass the NY Bar.  I have applied to do a LLM (comparitive law) at Uni of Baltimore and I am currently awaiting a response...!!  An LLM would enable me to take the DC bar and then ultimately the MD Bar.  Passing the NY Bar would then mean I had to take the MD bar to practice here in my home state.  I guess my question to you good people is this, do you consider Barbri enough knowledge.  The NY passing rate for foreign students is simply horrifying.... Any pearls of wisdom from you guys would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you so much......
