also as regards jobs, there's probably less opportunities than NY, but less ppl looking as well... mind u, I am just speaking from hearsay and the choices my friends/ acquaintances have made. i have a couple of friends who have managed good jobs in CA, so there's hope for sure. there's also sun and sand. and that is important.

Hi neha, i wrote to them about aid. They wrote back pretty quick and said they'll consider my application.

about coming to UCLA, its quite high in my list of priorities. got cornell and georgetown as well; but i'd prefer UCLA . california is the big pull - not only is it a stunning place with beautiful climate; its quite multi-racial in demographics and also allows foreigners to sit for the bar.
so hope i get some aid!

Hey people,
I have been accepted to UCLA as well. Congrats t u all. Did u hear anything about the scolarships shit back? I am now struggling to decide between going to UCLA (with no grants, at least for now) or go to work to Dubai. Besides that, anyone can help me know what the "real" (not school statistics based) possibilities of getting a good paid job (say 80k to 90k) after graduation are?

hey,
It depends on the course you take up too.
Like for corporate law the situation is a little tight. But since UCLA is hosting a job fair from this year, there is nothing to worry. Most of them get placed.

hey, I have been offered a place in UCLA for 07/08, but was also offered Cornell and U. of Virginia, really think its a choice between Cornell and UCLA, was looking for others views? Dream job is sports law, so UCLA is strong, but I've already sat the NY Bar, and fingers crossed have passed,

Hey guys!
I've also been accepted to UCLA! I've just received the admission e-mail, but nothing was said about financial aid.
My area of specialization is International and Comparative Law.

I cross my fingers for you!

I was also accepted to UCLA and still waiting for an answer from UPENN. In addtion, I was offered a job in NY by a small local corporate law firm. Do you think it is better to take the job or complete my LL.M first? Your opinion is really important to me. So please....
