Harvard, Columbia, NYU, Georgetown, University of Texas, Fordham Law, George Washington may be the top 7 programs for international trade law.
Try the advanced program search at http://www.llm-guide.com/search for more programs (you can search by subject + location).

Hi, I am a current study at the LLM Program in ILS at Georgetown University. I am focusing my studies in Trade Law. The curriculum is pretty extensive and the professors are the best in this area. Check usnews.com, GULC is third in ILS, but in trade I think is the strongest. Besides, DC is a great location, there are plenty of events and conferences on WTO, ICSID, etc. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you so much for your kindly taking the time out to reply my mail. However, i need to ask more of you. Apart from Georgetown, which has the best llm programme in trade in you opinion, can you give me the name of the other top 3 schools in this area of law (in the other of their strength). thanks

Bruno,
As far as I know Columbia Law and Georgetown Law are the best for International Trade. They have the best faculty concerning this subject (John Jackson in GULC an Mavroidis in CLS, apart from others). Actually, to take Jackson's class I feel it is somehow useful to know WTO matters in advance, otherwise you will feel behind in the class, many people find his class boring, not me. I am taking both his class and the seminar given by him and two other professors. The seminar is more focused on DSU, and the other two professors were negotiatiors in the drafting of this agreement. The seminar is very good, small group and other students with very strong backgrounds (for instance, one of the students was member of a WTO panel!!). Moreover, GULC gives you the possibility to apply to internships in WTO, a friend of mine is now finishing hers. DC has another advantage, that is the location: major law firms that practice trade are in this city. Concerning Columbia, it has a great faculty too, I think you should check the website since the bios are published there. Columbia has also an overall good reputation. I was admitted there but came here....If you need further info do not hesitate to send me a message, since I barely enter into this site...Regards.
