JD in the best Schools

Hi:

I did my master in a top 10 law school in the USA. I also did 4 years of law before in my own country and not in the USA. Yet, I still did not prepare for the LSAT and I had a 3.1 GPA in my master (English is my third language). Shall I apply to a top 5 law school or it is impossible to get in because of my low gpa?

Hi! They pay a lot of attention to LSAT. You can check the www.lsac.org web site, where you can find information about the students admitted and compare your score and GPA to theirs. You should probably try LSAT at home and this can help you to foresee your chances. You have to stand out in your personal statement and letters of recommendation and show that you truly need a JD for some purposes. It is only my opinion, but I don't think it is gonna work.
