mostly openings are for students from european countries,,increasingly students from China and latin america are also being sought after,,for students from other countries chances are very limited..

Thanks for the information, but I already know that. Did you participate last year? What are the chances to get an interview? Is it the only one job fair for foreign LL.M. students?

as i said i cant tell you about your chances for getting an interview..that depends upon a lot of factors,,your country, language skills, grades (under grad) etc etc..most emplyers r looking for european candidates,,cant speculate about your chances for getting an interview any more than that..!!
and its not the only job for foreign llm's..there's the columbia law school job fair as well but its participation is limited to 6 law schools (unlike NY ISIP's 30 schools!)..
you are eligible, depending upon your school's policies to participate in many other job fairs as well (like diversity, minority fairs etc) but they are not useful at all as employers dont expect to recruit llm's in these fairs, which are primarily for JD students..
I dint participate in NY ISIP last year..//
would suggest you contact your career office for more info. on ISIP..

According to what I have heard from friends who had participated in NY ISIP last year, it is not complicated to get interviews, but sometimes some of the firms that come to ISIP are not really hiring (they come around just because all major firms are coming too). In some cases, they have their own hiring process and by the beginning of January some of the job positions are covered. Conclusion: instead of relying 100% on the ISIP, try to send resumes asap...
