I plan to apply for Georgetown's general studies LLM in 2007. Frankly speaking, my undergraduate class ranking is not high and just at the average, though the school is top 1 in my country. I wonder if Georgetown put much emphasis on the academic performace...? Could any admitted student provide your class ranking? MANY THANKS!!

seeing your name i think we r from the same country so i hope my experience could be of some kind of help. i have been accepted to boalt and some other schools with a GPA almost reaching 3.8 from a "teidai" institution. if u would like to know any other info on my experience feel free to ask. good luck!

just one thing, i did not apply to georgetown so my data probably won't be much help if you are only considering georgetown

Hi, I'm probably from the same school as you, uemura- the school is surely not cooperative in giving good grades!
I tried to make up for my grades by my TOEFL score and my grades at the legal institute. This seemed enough for some law schools, including GT. Harvard, I couldn't make it.
