I have also been admitted to NYU so a bit confused dont think am going to take either GTU or GWU as NYU was my preference as I want to Intl Legal Studies....but still hoping for Columbia..........what about u guys decided already or waiting to hear from other places?

I have been admitted to GW and GT. Not yet made my final desision as to where i want to be this fall. Im doing an LLM with a focus in IP, so GW seems to be the better choice, but i've been told by most that GT overall a nicer place to be.

congrats! well...i cant help u but i need your help badly. i applied to chicago last year due to my interest in doing LL.M. in law and economics. Unfortunately my application was rejected. I would be kind of you if u could mail me your personal statement or statement of purpose. I guess my sop lacked in many things. i hv 58% as my ll.b. aggregate. do u think i stand a chance in georgetown..plz help me

Hi guys plz any one who r accepted in top univ can tell me what the toefl score should be, they require 100 of ibt but i m not sure is it strict condition or not

hi ...i have been reading d above stated discussions...well i need some advice... i compleated my law school here in india in 2002 and now m planing to do an llm from new york i have almost 4 and a half years of practical experiance as a litigation lawyer..what are my cahnces if i apply for llm @ nyu fordham .. coz they are the only ones left..deadlines for the other schools ahve already expired...another thing i want 2 know is what are the job prospects in the US after i complete my llm from new york from one of the schools mentioned above and do i need to give the new york bar exam to get any job i mean is it mandatory to be admitted to the bar if u want to do a job in the US after doing an llm any suggessions would be welcome ......i have around 58-59 % in my llb what are the deadlines for gt & gw ,,,bye the way

Ummmmm what kind of help do you want. Your message is completely vague and doesnt specify what problems are you having. Have you even done a search of previous messages on this board, your questions have been discussed many times. One would think that a person considering getting an LLM would have the capability of thinking for themselves rather than coming to an anonymous message board and asking broad general questions. I might be able to understand a question about the personal statement, but what is so hard to understand about letters of recommendation. If you cant figure this out I would have serious reservations about admitting you into any LLM program.

First off, you should change your name from sickandtired to frustratedloser. Yep, my query was too wide. But that gives you absolutely no right to pass any personal remarks about my capabilities or lack thereof. You want to take out your life's frustrations, do it elsewhere. I have no time for negative people like you and therefore will not explain my reasons for querying in the way I did. Save yourself some trouble and do not bother to reply to this for I will not waste my time reading it.
