In the Cornell law School application form it is asked that : " Please list the names and professional affiliations of people who influenced your decision to apply to Cornell law school"
I dont know any professor of cornell law school so I dont know how I should answer this question and what I should write there. Can I write the name of my professor?

Of course, you could write your friends even! I think it is more of a 'marketing survey' question rather than one which goes to the admission criteria.

I wrote "Encouraged by professors and classmates at [Insert Name of my Law School] to apply" in my application :)

I would think it is OK :)
