Help, don't get the system: LLM in USA after BA in Europe

Hello,

I have a question and I hope you can help me. I am a bit confused by the American law studies system. I know a few Americans who did a LLM after their BA, but they couldn't help me.

Therefore I would be very thankful if you could give me advise:

I am a German BA student in Politics and Management (not as a major but as my course of study, as you might know our university system is different from the US). Right now I am in my 4th semester and I have 1 year of my BA studies left.

I am very interested in LLM programmes in the US (I know it is very expensive, but I still want to consider every option).

Does anyone know if you can access (good) US law schools with a German BA degree? Do foreigeners also have to
take the LSAT?

I have a fewmore questions regarding the LSATs and scholarship options, but these would already help me a lot.

Thanks!!!!!

P.S.: One more thing: How is it in the UK? Is there also a general testing system?

For most US LLMs you need to have a foreign law degree that allows you to practise in that country.

Normally, your politics & management degree will thus not suffice.

Applicants for the LLM do not have to take the LSAT.
