Harvard lists 3 recommendations in the main form (step 2, page 3), but there is the option to list up to 5 online (in step 5). I am wondering if the 4th and 5th online recommendations need to be in by Dec 1st? I seem to recall that last year they could submitted until some point in January?

Just wondering, do the 4th and 5th recommendations get accepted or read? My understanding was that you can register more recommendors however only 3 recommendations can actually be submitted. Is 3 the minimum number of recommendations they accept as opposed to the maximum?

Any tips would help!

The discrepancy is strange, but I would assume they look at all 5, why else does it allow 5 to be submitted online?
