Hi guys, as to choosing accommodation: What dorms do you prefer? I like the Gropius complex because of the social aspect but a private bathroom wouldnt be bad as well ... Any thoughts?

Yeah, it seemed nice to me as well. I live in something quite similar at the moment and it is always good fun to share a living room etc with others.
However, does anyone know what the chances of getting a room through the lottery system are? And do chances increase by choosing certain (less popular) dorms? I really hope that I will not have to search for a room on the private market!!

I was told that every LLM can get a dorm which however may not necessarily be his or her first choice.

We will try to get affiliated housing apartment, minimum 1-bedroom since we come with the baby. Botanic Gardens is my top choice because of nice surrounding, but I realize we may end up with sth else :)

"Private bathroom" sounds good. But it is quite expensive...
