Hi,
I have applied for a Fulbright scholarship and I am applying for an LLM at several schools, in particular at Harvard. Fulbright say that they contact Harvard during the scholarship process. Do you think that they compare the application material? Do you think it is too risky to indicate other academic preferences in both applications??
thanks

Fulbright practices differ from country to country, but I believe they intend to support you. Finnish Fulbright Commission sent a letter a reference in my favor, telling how competitive the scholarship had been. So I guess they will do something similar in your case. Could you explain what you mean by "indicating other academic preferences"?

Hi,
I am actually at Harvard this year on a Fulbright. I agree, the country practices can differ vastly. Could you clarify about the academic preferences questions? And the comparison element? Generally speaking (and of course subject to your clarification) its accepted that you will apply to more than one school.

well in the Fulbright application I am saying that i want to choose a general LLM with focus on tax and corporate law whereas in the Harvard application I am considering to apply for the tax concentration instaad of general LLM because i was told that this increases your chances...
