Has anyone heard about the outcome of their financial aid application for HLS? The letter of admission says they will decide by March 10th. Any idea how we will be notified (letter, email...)?

I haven't heard anything yet and I have no idea how the financial aid decisions will be communicated. I hope we will hear something by the end of this week (April 10th is tommorow, but the decisions might have been sent per snail mail).

I haven't heard anything yet either. But I expect that we should be able to call them tomorrow, since they were giving out admissions info over the phone...

Has anyone heard anything from them through e-mail? I was told that all students would be emailed yesterday but still have not heard anything.

I received a notification per email from FedEx yesterday saying that a letter for me from Cambridge is underway and is due to arrive on Friday. So it looks like that HLS has sent out the financial aid decisions with courier posts this year.

I also received the Fedex tracking email. Keep waiting.

Yesterday I was informed I was awarded total financial aid in the amount of $20,000 for the academic year 2007-2008, as follows:

$5,000 Gammon Fellowship
$10,000 Graduate Program grant
$5,000 Harvard Educational Loan Program (HELP) loan with Citibank

I still dont have all the funds I will be requiring, but does anyone know is this a good or a bad grand, coming from Harvard?

They also mentioned official letters should be arriving sometime this week

ooops, i guess it wasnt by post! just sent an e-mail to someone in the finaid office, and was told it had been fowarded to Sarine..

The letter is coming by post, however I talked to Sarine and given I live pretty far away (south America I believe they thought they would let me know, so they scaned the letter that they have sent . I dont have the additional information thou, I will have to wait for the package....

guys, i emailed Sarine regarding financial aid as I am worried it will take time for the FedEx package to reach me. I told her I needed a decision asap because I have to start trying to scrounge around for financial resources and I got an email from Valentina this morning regarding amount of my award.

May I ask, if possible, what sort/amount of financial aid you where awarded?
