I specified 3 general areas of interest and one extremely specialised area (part of one of the general areas) in which I was interested in undertaking specific research and/or specific classes. But I made a big point of saying I wanted to take classes from across the spectrum & that the potential diversity was a major draw. So kind of the opposite of a concentration. (My three areas have nothing superficial linking them)

In the past 2 years atleast, the decisions were out on a monday so i guess there's a big chance it is going to be monday.

But---they are using the Embark system for the first time---so it might be different this time.
