Hi all,
I was wondering whether it is worth spending about 200 pounds to be a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, so as to include the letters "MCIArb" behind my name. I am planning to apply for HLS and in particular to study negotiation with the teachers at the prestigious "Negotiation Project", and therefore just wanted your views on whether this might be a worthwhile qualification, since only those with certain credentials may apply (and since it is an ADR qualification). The problem is that 200 pounds is a fair amount of money, so if there's no leverage in the qualification, it would be quite a waste of money. Would appreciate any advice on this - thanks so much all!
Do let me know. Thanks! :)
