Hey Guys...
Phew! What a day!!... Ends with a rejection from the H-Bomb....
To NYC for CLS now.. Will pay their 500 USD now...
Congratulations to all those who tamed the H-bomb!,,,:) Especially to cyberlawyer,, GUTS dude.. You are the man.. All the very best in your future endeavors...
To all those who did not, including yours truly, I recommend a dose of togatoga magic...with a dash of Air Jordan...LOL...
My heart goes out for supranote1 . but of course, he will get it next year with more publications and work experience under his belt...
What a finale to the admission season... I lost to greater contenders... No shame in that...

I got a rejection letter, don't know why though
Very disappointing! I mean master with merit, and 2nd master (advanced LLM) expected (with high grades) - both in law, was not enough to get in?
I guess in the end what matters is money
Whats wrong with you. There is an Oxbridge admit here who could not make it and was very gracious in defeat. And i fail to understand the reference to money....Oughta be gracious in rejection dude.

Hey, these are amazing credentials no doubt. My point however was about the reaction to rejection.

:) maybe you haven't read my post well..
I have done Bachelors + Masters (diploma with merit) (LLM European Law and Policy) + 2nd Masters (diploma with honors expected) (LLM Advanced - European and International Business Law) and that is the reason why I am shocked!
Plus I am only 22 - what more can someone my age can have? And why is Bachelors + 2 masters with high grades (top 1-5% in class) is not enough?!
Dude, it's unfortunate to hear your story but u need to understand that ur impressive array of degrees may actually not have helped u. Harvard is also interested in taking glory for MAKING people as far as they show the potentials to succeed. It's possible u had that kind of competition and they'd prefer to admit a fresh smart young grad with no masters. By the way it's not all about grades; ur statements; ur country, who else from there; how many of your countrymen got in last year - it's too complex, pal!
Good luck though

Easy pal, easy! The criteria for admission are not equivalent to academic performance anyways - they are not selecting future scholars. Talented, young, sophisticated and ambitious candidates could win out. And always, substantive help offered by HLS graduates can make a difference: a woman from a major east Asian country last year benefited from her relationship that way.

I think HLS was wondering why you were collecting all those LLMs! And the fact is, there are many amazing candidates, who've got fascinating work experience, extra-curricular experience and publications on top of good academic credentials. Again, congratulations to all those who got in.

Any guesses on whether Tifilis is related to Admiral akbar, petersta (who was admitted before Harvard sent out decisions), Dan Knight and others who all joined the forum yesterday at exactly 4.30?
