how/where can i find out a general idea of grade requirements for LLM program of various schools? I have about a B maybe B+ average (first year i kicked ass with A- average, second year a low B average) and i'm a very very good law school in Canada. I would like to go to a good school, e.g. Northwestern, Cornell, UCLA, Yale, I would also like to apply to Fordham, Chicago Kent and San Diego (just because of the weather : ) ) Can people who know or have been accepted or rejected from some of these schools give me some feedback please!

I hate to sound as if I was nitpicking, but surely you do not intend to put San Diego or Fordham in the same league as Yale ?

Otherwise, you mention you want to go to a good school, but why did you only mention one law school (Yale) which is in the top 10 ? All the other schools you mentionned are not in the top 10...

You should definitely consider universities like UPenn, Virginia, etc. A school like UPenn is in my opinion better than the schools you mentionned (Cornell, Northwestern, UCLA, San Diego, etc.). It would be a big mistake to apply only to lower ranked schools.

thanks, i don't necessarily only want top 10, my grades probably won't get me in. Although is UCLA, Northwestern and Cornell not good schools? I also mentioned the others because they are cities I want to live in. San Diego, Chicago (chicago kent is known for tech law no?), but really my options are determined by grades, so what do i need? thanks! (general idea) are Bs sufficient?

I think your question is nearly impossible to answer. Admission committees consider all relevant factors: besides your grades, your CV, your letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, and your statement of purpose. I suggest you apply and just see where the cards will fall.
