Most lawschool in us do not have official GPA requirement.
However, GPA is one of the most important factor of admission consideration.

I read a 3.0 is minimum for US students. For British and Aussie students a lower second class honours (upper 2nd class or 1st class for the top schools).

I would be kind of hard to have GPA requirements, as many countries do not have the same system, and it is not transferable. I am providing what percentage of the class I finished in.

Please advise if it is difficult for a U.S Attorney with poor law school grades to be admitte to a U.S LLM program. Are there LLM programs for non-traditional students?

Well, how 'bad' is bad?

Top 3, Top 10, ... or ABA approved?

ABA approved. I am not looking for a tax program. Georgetown has a LLM in Banking and Securities regulation. I am interested in that.

Its not about GPA per se, its about your class rank. Depending on how your law school ranks, then you are allowed more flexibility in your GPA. I'd say for a school like georgetown you should aim for top 25% coming from a top tier school, top 15-25% coming from second tier, top 10-15 from tier 3, and top 5-10 from tier 4.

Thanks. Do they look at work experience too?

Of course other factors come into play, but I would say class rank and where you went to law school are the most important items. Other things like work experience and your personal statement will definitely help but if you are way outlside the rank ranges then it might not be enough.
