Good Standing - Bar Exam (mexican applicants)

Hello!

I am a Mexican attorney looking to sit for the California Bar Exam. l am having many difficulties to get the Good Standing letter that issues the SEP, but unluckily the SEP has been closed for COVID for many months and looks like it will remain closed for many more...

Is someone else in this same position? How did you deal with this situation?

Thank you!!

I asked them about  certificate of good standing question, they reply me :"As a foreign attorney, to qualify for the California Bar Examination you will need to register and provide an original certificate of good standing from the professional bar admissions regulation or attorney licensing authority in the jurisdiction you are admitted in.  It must be translated to English and notarized unless already in English.  The original certificate of good standing must be mailed to the Los Angeles office." So , you can send them the notarization of lawyer's license and tell them about your present situation.

Mucha suerte!!

Dear Applicant,
Unfortunately, we cannot approve your Registration Application with a Certificate of Good Standing from your University. Other applicants have been able to obtain an original Certificate of Good Standing by emailing SEP at dgp.cedulaprofesional@nube.sep.gob.mx .
Sincerely,The Office of Admissions
