waitlisted for one of the LLM programs offered by Georgetown. I was wondering if anybody knows what are the probabilities to be selected from the waitlist? Its too difficult?

I dont have experience on this (so please do not take big consideration of my opinion), but it seems to me that as a waitlisted you have many chances... just look at how many student who are admitted in Georgetown have applied to CLS, HLS, NYU etc... many of them will prefer those schools instead of Georgetown so that give waitlisters some room.... if you were in YLS, HLS or SLS waitlist I gess the chances will be less..

Have you applied for other schools?? in that case, if I were you and got acceptances from others schools I would get it... even if there is quite likely to be admitted by Georgetown, I find quite risky to wait until August!

I dont know till when I will have to wait.
But have to pay a deposit at GWU by April 1st. So I dont know how this will work.
