It would kinda depend on what your looking for. UPenn is stronger in Corp Law, while Geortown might enjoy a better rep for internaltional trade. If your goal is US private practice, UPenn is definitely better. ie rankings, prestige. I'm personally choosing UPenn over other top 10s.

I would strongly recommend Penn unless you are admitted to the Tax LLM at GULC. I chose NYU over both these schools but that again is a personal choise taking many criterions into consideration.

Penn. When doing an LLM you should choose any school from the top ten. Everyone in the US have a high respect for those schools so if you plan to apply for a job it will give you some benefit. Plus at Penn your classes will be with JD's or MBA's if you want to take classes at Wharton. I have heard that at Georgetown there are some classes which are for LLM's only. The LLM program is aimed at giving you contacts, you need not only LLM contacts but also JD ones and MBA's.

Thank you all for such an excellent comment! BTW, are any of you an alumni either from Penn Law or Wharton? How's life in Phily? Which are the best areas to live and hang out?
