Recently, I was admitted to Georgetown and LSE. I hold an American JD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MSc from the University of Edinburgh in International Relations. I am hoping to specialize in int. trade and I am trying to decide which of these programs would be best for my future job search and professional career. As for where I would like to practice, I believe in D.C., but I would jump at the opportunity to work in London.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Georgetown, hands down. If you want to specilaize in int'l trade and work in D.C, why would you consider LSE?

I am in a similar position except that I have no preference as to where I live and work after school. I also have an American J.D. and an interest in international trade.
Does anyone have any advice in deciding between these two schools?

Can anyone give me any information or advice on what GULC LL.M. student's job placement looks like in DC?
Hi 13243546!
i've been admitted to the IBEL LLM at GULC as well.
I don't really know about job placement but if your concern is about being just one among many other LLM graduates looking for a job in the US gov. keep in mind that many LLM grads are foreigners and therefore wont be working for the US gov.
I agree that LSE would distinguish you from others trying to land gov. jobs, however, being in DC will also allow you to meet people and maybe make useful connection... !
good luck in choosing! cheers!
