I did the skype interview yesterday and they asked me several questions. For example, they asked me (1) why I applied for GULC, (2) whether I was interested in becoming prosecutor, (3) whether I am interested in pro-bono work and (4) what I usually do during my leisure time. I think the questions may depend on the personal statement. The interviewer said that my listening score made them hesitate to offer admission but she became free from the concern. I wish all of us good luck!

Hey, ottocruise! This is a wonderful development. It was just a matter of clearing up first impressions. Good for you!

Hey Ottocruise, thanks for that info. That definitely sounds like it'll result into a happy ending :)
I have a feeling I'll be questioned on my not so great grades in law school.
Anyway I'll post whatever happens.
Good luck to you.

I've been wait-listed, mainly because Georgetown admits those who already have an undergraduate degree, and I haven't finished mine yet. Is anyone here in their final year, as an undergraduate, whom has received a conditional offer? Although, I've read now that they do not send conditional offers for their Graduate Programs.

Thanks

Hey, I was wondering, when you applied to Georgetown, did you get a confirmation email saying your application was complete? Because I applied two weeks ago and still nothing so I was just wondering.

No, didn't get anything when GT received my package. But you can always call and ask them (that's what I did), from my experience they are very helpful

Hey
So I had my interview today. It was fairly standard and they asked me questions like why GULC and what kind of extra curricular activities did I pursue in law school. When I asked her as to why i was deferred, she gave a very vague reply about the admissions committee wanting some additional information.
Now let's just hope for the best.

All the best, bro! I'm sure the interview gave the admissions committee a better understanding of your application.

I completed my application on 28th of January and the online status shows as Application completed, however I have not heard from them, can someone tell me what it means?
And when can I expect to hear from them.
Thanks

The interview does not appear to be mandatory for everyone.

The interview is only for a few people. The admissions committee felt that they'll be able to decide better with some additional information for certain people.
