I just checked their website again. All is not lost until December 15! That's the date they gave for when results will be released for early application.
And remember, they also said that those who applied early will be given more favorable consideration.
I hope we all make it. Man, I'd really hate to be reading this thread while waiting for results! I understand the pain!

Thanks Optimistic. Congratulations to you. What specialization had you applied for?

I applied for Taxation. Let us know when you receive the results, too. =)

Hey there,
any news from GT?
I checked on the website yesterday, and my status is still "complete". No decision has been made so far and i really start to worry about it. I don't know what to think. Maybe some people could share info.

Until the status of your application changes to "Decision" you should not worry. Remember that they say that decisions are normally issued by December 12th. If by that date you still don't have any news, I would recommed you to send them an e-mail.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Anyone who already received a rejection decision? Can we understand all applicants receiving decisions prior to Dec 14 are accepted? What's your thoughts??
Posted Dec 09, 2007 08:37
I got the notification of the completion on Dec.3 by email, and my online status is still"complete" till last Friday. It seems---I guess--- that the later the "Decision"appears, the less possibility that you would get admitted.... Sign!!
Only one week left. Bless everyone who are staying in the "complete"status

Today I received admissions letter. It took just about one week for "complete" to turn into "decision" on the status check.

Hi, VA! Congratulations on your admission!
Hmm..no word from UPenn yet. Weird thing is, when I checked my application online, the site said that I still hadn't sent in my TOEFL Score/Waiver. I got my waiver grant Oct. 31, and they said that they'd take care of it from there. So, it's strange, but as far as the website is concerned, my application is still pending. Maybe we should start another thread for 2008 UPenn Admissions. What about from your end? Are you decided on GULC?
Lafayette, any news?

Congrats optimistic! that's good news.
Optimistic, I was told by an admission officer at GT that most of the decisions would be released on the last days and that i should not be worried about the timing and the late review of my application. So i just keep my fingers crossed and try to be patient.
I will keep you posted on this.

Lafayette- Agree with you on that one. Have spoken to several people who second my thoughts, many letters will be released during the last couple of days. Good luck with it, hope to see you in DC.
Optimistic- I have applied to Penn, NYU and Columbia in addition to GULC. Needless to mention, they are above GULC in my pref. list, so not sure on GULC as yet.
Re Penn- Did you put in your dates correctly under the application for the toefl waiver? You may recall -the application requested the date of receipt of the letter/email granting the Toefl Waiver. Lets set up a thread for Penn and discuss this with others.
