Cool!
Congrats!!
When have you heard from NYU?

I haven't heard from them up to now. They told me to expect an answer until mid-March.

So it looks we have a little Brazil here in the LLM Guide, right? Let me introduce myself, then. I graduated from USP '05 and currently practice law in Brasilia. I've applied to HLS, YLS, CLS, NYU and UChicago, in the US, and LSE and QMUL, in the UK. I intend to do an academic-focused LLM, with a view to going on to an SJD/PhD.
@cyberlawyer, thanks once again for the help with the UChicago issue, by the way!
Best of luck to us all.

That's right, cyberlawyer, I work at Bacen. So far I've been offered places at LSE and QMUL. I'm still waiting to hear from the American schools, though. And yeah, this waiting is painful. I keep checking my email every 5 minutes and now that I've found this forum there's another reason to be glued to the computer screen. The problem is I can't concentrate on my work! lol
What about you? Have you been accepted somewhere yet?

Hi guys,
I´d like to make a Summer LL.M. Degree in Constitutional Law, especifically in USA. I have no idea where study there and what would be the best Universitys to apply. Can u recommend something?

Berkeley has a fairly well regarded summer program.... but it will take you 2 summers to conclude it:

I'm studying in Berkeley now and, if you have the chance to do a "normal" LLM (1 full year), I think it will be better for you...

Hi There!
I´m brazillian too...
I´m planning to do a LLM in International Taxation on 2011. I´m still researching for schools and programs... I liked a lot the NYU, Georgetown University, HLS and the Northwestern (LLM/Kellogg). Any different suggestion?
How about the ones who were expecting the final decisions? Hope everything worked well!
Good luck!
