UCLA granted me 30k and Duke nothing.
Which one would you choose taking into account that I currently live in NYC and my family too, North Carolina is more affordable than Los Angeles, I am willing to specialize in Business Law (Corporate Law), New York Bar exam is slightly easier than California (as far as I know not sure) but I also have kind of a gut feeling during information sessions and online meeting that UCLA staff were more friendly ( I know that it could be a marginal or insignificant point but it does matter to me)

The total cost of attendance is what you should be focusing on, not scholarship amounts. How much cheaper is UCLA over Duke? If it’s not by a significant amount, choose Duke.
