Hi! Do you think I can have a chance if I apply next week since the admission is done on a rolling basis?
Yeah for sure. Most people get an acceptance after the deadline anyways

You should definitely give it a shot mate! According to older threads, there were people who applied even on the last day of the deadline and were eventually admitted.

Well, I requested $30,000 and that left me with mixed feelings, as I was hoping for stronger financial support.

Hi! I just finished my interview with Rima Idzelis, it was a nice chat. However, I would like to know if I las not offered an admission during the interview does it mean that I Lost my chance? Also, if thats nor the case, how long is it till I can have an answer?

Hi, does Duke offer a full ride? What is the maximum amount that they offer as scholarship?
Posted Jan 25, 2024 20:32
1) I didn't receive an offer after the interview initially, but I eventually gained admission.
So, if you weren't admitted right away, there's no need to worry and it's definitely not a bad sign.
2)Based on previous threads, they typically grant scholarships ranging from 15,000 to 25,000, and they provide a limited quantity of half-tuition scholarships.

Thank you, Michael! I actually have an interview scheduled for next week. I presume that I could be asked a few questions regarding scholarship expectations. Congratulations to you! Hopefully, I make it through too!

Congratulations! Please could you share your profile? I am trying to manage my expectations. I do need a full funding to be able to attend.

Well, here are a few things about me!
I am from Greece, graduated in the top 15%, and currently pursuing a master's degree in Banking and Finance Law in my home country. Moreover, I have attended winter courses at The Hague Academy of International Law and summer courses on EU financial regulation at the Academy of European Law.
I have two years of experience as a trainee lawyer, including internships at the central bank and two leading corporate law firms. Additionally, I'm a first-generation student and volunteered for two years, assisting disabled students at my university.
In my letter requesting financial support, I highlighted my proven commitment to public service and my dedicated focus on building a legal career centered around academia and the public interest, with a future goal of pursuing an SJD degree.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Hi everyone! For what particular program did you get your admission?
Posted Jan 29, 2024 13:06
I believe there is only a general LLM at Duke.
