I am still waiting. I applied early but my last letter didnt come in till a couple days after the deadline, so I am not sure if I am still early or not. It says I am.

yeah me too. my app was completed back in October but I submitted an updated version of my transcript few days after the deadline. still haven't heard. this waiting game is killing me.

Did the school ask you (anyone) to update your grades...or was this something that you did on your own.
Posted Jan 30, 2007 16:56
From my understanding, only NYU asks (because they can)
Posted Jan 31, 2007 03:16
Northwestern also asked me to submit an updated transcript

when do they let ppl know at NW?

to those who have been admitted: did you get an admitted email before you got the acceptance packet? i called gtown today (1/31) and the lady said a decision was reached on my file but she wouldn't tell me what kind of decision. so far, i haven't received any email from gtown so i am thinking it's probably a bad sign...

I am an foreign applicant addmited to GU, I only received a package via courrier including an acceptance letter, an email from GU arrived weeks later, giving me instructions to access the Admitted students webpage.

Yeah, you do, but the deadline is sometime around late March/early April (can't remember the exact date), even if you have been admitted through early action.

mine changed to decision this afternoon. i called the admissions office and the lady told me they were having some trouble with the computer system (maybe b/c i tried to log in too often...hahahaha)

It was down part of the day and you couldnt check the status. I guess we will get something in the mail soon. I would not worry, My tax prof. said I was a show in at GT and likly at nyu and I have not heard yet either so... It may be because we both finished ours a little late.

do you mind sharing ur gpa? one thing i am really worried about (useless now, ofcourse) GT is my undergrad grades. i think i already said this before (this post or another post), my hope is with NYU since they didn't request my undergrad grades. i did HORRIBLE back in college. law school i got better, but my school is not rank high. i am currently at top 10% of my school. but given my school is rank so low, i doubt top 10% is enough.

If your status changed to decision more than 4 days ago you can try logging into the admitted student website with your status checker username and password, because it says access is granted 4 days after a decision is made.

So is it a bad sign if my status went to decision today - and when can I try to start logging in to the admitted students website??
Posted Feb 02, 2007 01:49
No definitely not a bad sign. Mine did not work until 4 days after it went to decision, but i got something in the mail first. You will probably hear by mail first, I wouldn't worry.
