Hi guys,
I'm just worry about my situation. I'm on the waitlist both of Cornell and Norwesthern.
Is it possible that the person in waitlist will be admitted?
I heard from my friend that waitlist only have a little chance to get it or it can assume as the rejection. Is it true?
Do Cornell and Northwestern send out their rejection?
Thank you.
Does the waitlist have any chance to get the admission?

Dear Elan,
I have the same question considering that, as you, I was also waitlisted in NYU. Is that true that we just have remote chances of being admitted? A good new to you is that I was accepted in both Cornell and NWU and I will decline the offer of NWU. Good luck and please keep me informed,
Best regards,

I am getting quite desparate too.... I am half giving up and started to consider applying again next year with better preparation. Hope whatever decision will be made soon so that I can move on.
Good luck to you all here!

Don´t give up, show them your interest in getting in. I was put on the wait list at UPENN and just last friday I got the admission e-mail. I think it´s because I called Wednesday to ask if they had reached a decision. Call, e-mail, send them letters, remember there is always one more space available for the really interested students. Best of luck!

Well it is really hard to say. I am on waiting list of Upenn, Cornell, Chicago, Michigan, NYU and Georgetown. I wrote email to Michigan, Chicage for status of waiting list. No response has been received. And I was rejected by Upenn.
However, I got the admission notice from Georgetown one week ago.
