I wonder if anyone has any experience with defering admission offers to the following year?

Is lack of financial resources a good reason to ask for deferral?

Given the rise of the US dollar against most currencies, it might be a logical argument to present. I don't think anybody could have anticipate the strengthening of the dollar over the past 6 months.

I'm afraid financial constraints is not a valid reason to defer admission, but you never know... it's possible, yet unlikely, they allow you to defer on this ground
