Hi all, I\'m totally new to all of this. I\'m thinking about doing an LLM in the states, but not sure whether I am eligible/sufficiently qualified.

Here\'s where I\'m at:

Good Oxford 2.1, placed top in one core paper, and a special mention in the examiners\' report for a further outstanding first in another paper. Can get solid references to explain why I missed a 1st overall.

CPE distinction - strong marks for all coursework, tort, contract, C&A, trusts.

Inns of Ct/City for BPTC - VC overall, outstanding in Cross, Opinion, Employment, Prof Neg, and good VCs the rest.

2 good scholarships from my Inn, and minis at top sets.

Does being a CPE student preclude me from US LLMs?
Does being a 2.1 put me out of the race?

I\'m going to do some research myself, of course. Any help would be massively appreciated. Thanks x
