Hello i applied to do llm this fall but thinking of deferral due to covid 19
Interested to hear what people think -
Will there really by teaching this fall? Will we need vaccine to enter america? Would it be harder to reapply next year if more applicants compete one another after covid? Will covid impact costs? Fewer graduatw jobs?
Plz share thoughts!
I think everyone accepting an offer needs to be okay with the possibility of online classes. It is true, the United States is trying to get herd immunity by the fall; however, with Covid variants popping up it is not clear whether the current vaccine will protect the public. That being said, fall could be in person but a new variant could get classes moved online by winter or spring semesters. Or everything goes smoothly and the vaccine allows classes to be in person the whole time. There really is no way to predict this right now... but again, my thought is you have to be okay with classes being moved to online because that might be the reality.
