I would assume it is a little bit different from school to school. I have attended two American law schools. Short summary from my experience:
Age: average 25 (average for LLMs may differ)
Hours of class per WEEK: 12-15
Methodology: the socratic method (In a typical class setting, the professor asks a question and calls on a student who may or may not have volunteered an answer. The professor either then continues to ask the student questions or moves on to another student.)
Importance of participation: very important in letting the professors know you, and in some classes class participation is part of the final grade - or it can adjust your grade. Most professors call on you and will get annoyed if you are not prepared every day.

you can also go to the U.S News Ranking of Best Colleges in America, and for 15 US dollars, you can get more answers, and gain more knowledge about what a school have to offer.
Besides, some on the questions (that are answered already) that you have are fully explained on the ranking,

Thank you so much!
I didn´t know nothing about this method. I guess LLM is similar to methodology at university (law school).
I think exams are handwritten and there´s not much differences btw school and this master.
I´ll visit the page, tx !
