corporate or business regulation

helenhh

Hey everyone,
i got admitted to the LLM in international business regulation, litigation and arbitration field. But recently i doubt whether it is a good choice. Because this is a new field in the NYU LLM (before there is a program trade regulation") and Corporate law in NYU seems to be a great choice for many people. So i am wondering whether to hold on this direction. It is said the admitted student may have a chance to transfer to other programs like the corporate.

I have never speciliased before in either aspect. would you please help me to make an analysis about these two field? Thank you guys.

hey helenh,

I had to make the same choice when i'd applied and i was advised to opt for the corporation law specialization instead as that seems to be one of NYU's strengths after international law.
but i am still confused about whether to accept it or not...do you have any clue about the recruitment scenario post an NYU LLM presently?

thanks in advance.

hey, thank you for your advice. As to the recruitment scenario, I had no idea. Yesterday I had a close look at the courses about these two fields, many of the core courses are also available and core for the business regulation students. But corporation seems to be more specilized in the business which I am afraid maybe hard to handle. Anyway, my NYU friend just recommended me the corporation. More confused
