I was a student at the University of Houston Law Center and was fortunate to take the Comparative Health Law Class in the Spring of 2017 with Professor Lopez de la Osa Escribano. It was a fascinating course to learn new legal analytical skills in the comparative law field. Further, it was a great opportunity to learn from legal practitioners, who tackle questions involving the intersection between medical and legal ethics, the FDA research process and understanding different healthcare systems and institutions. In light of the global pandemic, pursuing an LLM at the University of Houston Law Center, in one of the major medical centers of the world, will provide new perspectives to these questions. I highly recommend.
